Local Interfaith Committee Training:
NCIDR offers local faith community training and resources for establishing interfaith preparedness committees, which will be ready to respond at the time of disaster. This consultation and training is offered on an ongoing basis throughout the state by NCIDR, whose goal is to have interfaith preparedness committees in every county of North Carolina.

Please visit North Carolina Emergency Management for continuing updates on NC's disaster response, developing legislation, and training and preparedness information regarding both weather developments and the War on Terror.

Please visit www.citizencorps.gov for ongoing information and training materials on President Bush's Citizen Corps and CERT Training program throughout the US and in NC (which can also be accessed through FEMA's website).
